The Atlanta Homeward Choir, The Center for Civil and Human Rights along with The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and Challenge the Stats invite you to a concert taking place on Saturday, January 25 at 8pm at the The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 48 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr SW, Atlanta GA 30303. The Birthplace of Belonging is a concert being held in conjunction with the National Alliance for Music in Vulnerable Communities (NAMVC.org) Annual conference being held in Atlanta from Jan 23-26, 2020. The Concert will feature performances by the Atlanta Homeward Choir, The Shrine Music Ministry, Harpist Angelica Hairson with other Challenge the Stats musicians, Artists from the Spelman College Music Department and Musical Directors from Street Choirs associated with the NAMVC. The evening will also host a conversation on volunteerism and belonging facilitated by the Center for Civil and Human Rights', David Hopings. Admission is free and parking will be available at Underground Atlanta.
