Welcome to the Georgia Chapter of the American Harp Society
The American Harp Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that was founded in 1962 and has more than 3,000 members throughout the world. It exists to promote and foster appreciation of the harp, to encourage the composition of music for the harp and to improve the quality of harp performance.
The Georgia Chapter of the American Harp Society received its charter in 1978. The Georgia Chapter regularly presents world-class concerts, master classes, social gatherings, and workshops. The Georgia Chapter has a membership that consists of professionals, amateurs, students, and friends of the harp from around the state of Georgia and beyond!
Mission Statement: To promote appreciation of the harp and its music and to encourage friendship and cooperation among harpists of all ages and abilities.
